AUSTIN — A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot and wounded a man in North Austin on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, during a brief foot pursuit shortly before 1 p.m. local time, city officials said at a City Hall news conference, according to Reuters, NBC News, and TPR/KUT.
