MAGA Inc drops another $5 million against Talarico in Texas Senate race
President Donald Trump’s super PAC MAGA Inc. disclosed another $5 million independent-expenditure hit in the Texas U.S. Senate race, according to a Federal Election Commission 24/48-hour report filed Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026 — stacking more outside cash onto an already expensive Paxton–Talarico fight.
The filing (Image #202609199904439244, committee C00892471) lists two $2.5 million payments to Del Ray Media LLC of Alexandria, Virginia, both for “PLACED MEDIA: CONNECTED TV AND DIGITAL ADVERTISING.” One supports Republican nominee Warren Kenneth Paxton Jr.; the other opposes Democrat James Talarico. Dissemination is dated Sept. 19; the obligation date on both lines is Sept. 15. Year-to-date totals on the form show $12.5 million on the Paxton support line and $15 million on the Talarico oppose line for the 2026 general.
The Hill and other outlets framed the Saturday drop as an add-on to MAGA Inc.’s earlier September buy with the same vendor — a $10 million connected-TV/digital package disclosed earlier in the month that split support for Paxton and opposition to Talarico.
Why the money keeps coming
Paxton, Texas’s attorney general and Trump’s preferred nominee after the GOP primary that pushed aside Sen. John Cornyn, has trailed Talarico badly on campaign cash-on-hand in mid-year FEC snapshots cited by The Hill — roughly $1.76 million available for Paxton versus about $21.5 million for Talarico at the end of June. Outside groups are closing that gap the old-fashioned way: late, heavy, negative TV and digital.
Trump has said he expects MAGA Inc. to spend hundreds of millions on midterms while saving powder for 2028; end-of-July FEC figures put the super PAC’s cash on hand around $403 million, The Hill reported, even as Trump has publicly floated a near-billion figure under his broader political tent.
For Texas voters, the practical upshot is simpler: another five million dollars of connected-TV and digital fire aimed at defining Talarico before early voting, paid for by a presidential super PAC that already put eight figures into the same vendor this month. Campaign finance law lets that happen in the open — the FEC form is the receipt.
Dated Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026: Saturday FEC disclosure of the additional $5 million Del Ray Media buy; ads themselves are the next measurable step.
