The NFL's first regular-season game in Australia — San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground — will stream live on Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, at 8:35 p.m. ET / 5:35 p.m. PT. Local kickoff in Melbourne is Friday, Sept. 11, at 10:35 a.m. AEST. Netflix Tudum, NFL.com's Week 1 slate, and the Rams' official announcement all carry those times.

NFL.com's international Melbourne page calls it the league's first-ever regular-season game in Australia, staged in partnership with the Victorian State Government and Visit Victoria. The Rams are the designated home team. Netflix says the game is included in all subscription plans; open the app and select the NFL Melbourne Game stream.

Broadcast talent, per Tudum: Elle Duncan hosts studio coverage with Michael Irvin, Nick Foles, and Clay Matthews III. Noah Eagle has play-by-play; Luke Kuechly debuts as booth analyst. Tom Pelissero and MJ Acosta-Ruiz are on the sidelines. Pelissero also joined Netflix on a multi-year deal tied to The Ringer's NFL shows.

NFL.com's Week 1 preview puts Matthew Stafford's Rams — coming off an NFC Championship appearance — against Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey's 49ers, with Trent McDuffie's Rams debut and expected returns for San Francisco's Fred Warner and Nick Bosa among the storylines. Los Angeles has won four of the last five meetings in the Sean McVay–Kyle Shanahan series heading in.

The Melbourne game opens a five-game 2026 Netflix NFL slate that Tudum says also includes Thanksgiving Eve (Packers at Rams, Nov. 25), two Christmas Day games, a Week 18 contest, and NFL Honors. Gates at the MCG open at 7 a.m. local on game day, per NFL.com. Verified as of Sept. 1: the date, U.S. and Australian kickoff times, venue, Netflix carriage, and announced booth are set.
